Upper seam weld head is mounted on a guided ram with a 2” stroke. Lower weld head adjusts in-out for wheel line-up and is mounted on lower knee that will also allow lower seam head to move up and down.

Heads can be power driven or free rotation with power drive table. Power drive table consists of an aluminum tool plate table top mounted on a sub base which rides on a THK bearing track. Table is connected to a ball screw and D.C. motor with speed control.

This Vertical Seam Welder with JANDA Model 0250 seam head employs a 10 KVA stacked core water-cooled transformer available in 220V. or 440V.

Seam weld head is mounted on THK bearings that allow head to move up-down thru a ball screw, reducer, and D.C. motor with speed control. The weld die remains fixed, but adjusts in-out for lineup. Weld head and weld die assembly are mounted on a second set of guides that shift in-out thru cylinder and solenoid valve.
