The JANDA Model PS-10-M1 Seam welders utilize a 10 KVA Inverter transformer, seam weld heads withTimken bearing supported weld shafts with coin silver contact shoes and internally water-cooled weld shafts. Upper weld head adjusts in-out and lower head adjusts left-right through T-slot.

FEATURES
  • Three phase high frequency inverter power supply operates at 1 2 00 hz with primary and secondary constant current
  • Fully rectified DC secondary – virtually no secondary inductive loss
  • Controls incorporate Constant Current feedback to ensure exceptional reliability and the highest quality welding
  • Built-in weld checker simultaneously monitors current, voltage, power, welding time and detects problems
  • Heavy-duty reinforced frame’s withstand heavy pressures required for certifications
  • Compact design allows for full three phase power in a single phase frame size
  • Upper weld head adjusts left-right
  • Lower weld head adjusts left-right thru T-slot & moves up-down up to 6” for different wheel diameters
  • Lower or upper head drive with SCR speed control
  • Internally water-cooled weld shafts
  • Camrol guided ram

OPTIONAL:

  • Tip Dress & Forge , Retraction, Adjustable Weld Stroke
  • Dual Drive

Quality Assurance with Secondary Constant Current Voltage

When welding with conventional welders, weld defects occur due to plating oxides, oil or other contaminants, these variations in resistance during welding are detected and fed back to the control unit. The advantage of this type of control is that reliable welds can be achieved regardless of fluctuations in power source voltage or non-uniform work piece resistance. The performance is achieved due to the ability to detect and correct for current fluctuations at very high speeds. If unable to reach weld current, machine will “shut down” - meaning no reject parts!
