ABOUT JANDA COMPANY INC.
![]() JANDA Company, Inc. was established in 1960 by Bob White, Sr., and after 47 years of consistent growth is the leading manufacturer of Quality Resistance Welding Equipment due to JANDA's ability to always provide the best designed equipment, delivery, price, and workmanship. JANDA’s initial growth was in the design and manufacture of special welders dedicated to customer’s application. We have shipped over 3000 special machines worldwide serving the US Government, aerospace, automotive, building, wire products and sheet metal industries. The majority of these specials were a first in the industry. In 1961, JANDA started developing a standard line of welders, which now consists of 42Types of Resistance Welders, including Rocker Arm, Press Type, Seam, Multi-Head, Butt and T-Welders, Flash and Gun Welders from 25 KVA to 600 KVA single phase and 75 KVA to 600 KVA three phase, also Dimple Welders, Stitch Welders, Bench Type Welders, Fusion Welders and Miniature Welders. JANDA was the first to introduce a standard Multi-Head welder, which is still one of our most popular machines. In 1988, JANDA developed a new line of high-tech three phase Inverter Press, Seam and Rocker Arm welders primarily for aerospace, which were a first in the industry. Now, our standard line of welders also includes Inverter Multi-Head welders. JANDA's line of miniature welders include single and dual head - from 10 oz. to 600 lb. diaphragm heads, small poke guns and scissor guns and hand held seam welders. Longitudinal and Circumferential Seam welders 5 KVA to 20 KVA and most important - miniature Multi-Head spot welders with AC or Inverter power supply. Also, Rotary Table welders with Inverter and AC power supplies for SCR, Diode, battery etc. To satisfy a void in the Spot Weld Tensile Tester industry, JANDA designed a more efficient line of Pull Testers both horizontal and vertical models with the features and capabilities that the industry commanded. JANDA has a full line inventory of standard welders, all major brand controls, transformers, welding guns, SCR’s, Ignitron tubes, foot switches, cables, weld checkers, water chillers, etc. In addition, we have one of the nations largest IN STOCK inventories of electrodes, holders, accessories, and copper alloys. JANDA takes pride in our highly qualified service technicians and can provide service worldwide. JANDA will service any make welder or control. We are licensed and bonded electrical contractors, (Gen) License No. C10 304205. Through out the years, JANDA has also assisted the United States Government and aerospace industries in research and development of highly sophisticated, never before accomplished resistance welding processes and equipment to meet the highest Government Mil. Spec. requirements. JANDA is the number one authority in machine qualification to meet Mil. Spec. Class A requirements and held the chair (the only resistance welder manufacturer invited), on the government Mil. Spec. committee for five years. JANDA has over 30,000 sq. ft. of industrial plant with 1200 amp 3 Phase electrical service so that we can demonstrate all of our machines under full power. We do all of our own engineering, fabrication, painting, electrical, plumbing etc. and have a complete machine shop with todays state of the art machinery including six CNC's, we even have our own sheet metal and pattern shop and lab for Mil. Spec. work. We are active members of the Resistance Welder Manufacturers Association and have an excellant reputation for producing QUALITY Equipment and providing excellant service.
